We told Kayleigh that we wanted to have a "Kayleigh's Kids Day." It would be a day where she got to choose whatever she wanted to do (within reason, of course). She did all of her jobs this morning - she has to do math, a spelling test, a writing assignment and a job for pay each day this summer. Then she wanted to watch "The Resurrection" DVD (what a good girl!). Around 11:00, we headed to Cherry Hill to check out the water park. After living in Davis County for almost 27 years, you'd think I would have been there before, but no. This was our first time. When we got there, we decided to eat first and get that out of the way. Kayleigh wanted pizza, her favorite. As soon as we sat down, her stomach started hurting. She kept getting these pains off and on and running to the bathroom to try to remedy the situation. Finally, after about an hour, she started feeling better. Before that, she kept saying, "This is the worst Kid's Day ever!" Later she changed it to, "This is the BEST Kid's Day EVER!" I was glad to see her finally enjoying herself.

Last TBall Game
This was K's last tball game and the trophy she got. She was so excited to have her very own trophy (she has one of my old ones on her shelf in her bedroom). She's really enjoyed playing and wants to again next year. Go Braves!!
Kayleigh's Summer of Fun - Fireworks!
Kayleigh and I went to see fireworks at Fischer Park in Clearfield. (Matt doesn't like fireworks, so this is becoming our Mother/Daughter thing.) While we were there, Garrett and Jamie (who were with Jamie's family) stopped by to chat for a little while. We got some snacks - Kayleigh's favorite part of this outing - brought UNO, the iPod and a bunch of glow bracelets to entertain us for about an hour and a half until the fireworks started. About ten minutes into it, K was bored and ready to go.
