Kayleigh's Summer of Fun - Bingham Canyon Mine

Kelzo and I went to the Bingham Canyon Mine - it was free until the end of May (avoiding the whopping $5/car fee). This was our first time and I could have sworn that it said on the website that they do tours of some kind. Apparently, I was wrong. Kayleigh really enjoyed the whole 20 minutes we were there though, so it was worth it.

After the mine, we went to Copperton Park with the intent of getting something to eat and playing while there. Copperton doesn't have a single place to get anything to eat...no restaurants, no stores, no gas stations. She played for about a half hour and then we headed home, getting food along the way.

I bought a $2 piece of copper in the gift shop (aka "trailer") for her Summer of Fun book. She wanted a copper Sheriff's badge. There weren't any with her name on them, so she wanted one that said, "Kevin." That way, when she's playing "Sheriff," she can be Kevin. Funny girl. (However, she promptly lost it the next day at the playground.)
